UEFA club…

In 2013 he published in Cima Magazine (September 2013 Edition):

“UEFA Club Licensing System and Financial Fair Play and its Prompt Application in Ecuador”.

“At the end of the last decade, most clubs in Europe were living beyond their means, accumulating large debts to finance player transfers and salaries. This generated increasingly serious financial losses (around 56% of high-level teams presented losses) and condemned them to a liquidity deficit, which resulted in delayed payments of obligations to other clubs, employees, and /or social or fiscal authorities.

In this sense, in order to complement the regulations of the Club Licensing system, in September 2009, the UEFA Committee unanimously approved the concept of Financial Fair Play, by introducing mandatory measures so that clubs operate with transparency and financial responsibility; including the obligation of clubs, during a certain period of time, to balance their accounts.”
